Players, Coaches and Parents! Thank you once again for your support of the Thinkers Challenge series. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming tournaments next year. Until then be safe and enjoy your upcoming Spring and Summer.

  4. January 18, 2020 - Due our March 28 tournament having to be canceled all refunds have been processed and completed as of 3/14/2020.
  5. March 28, 2020 - As our communities and our nation confronts the unprecedented health crisis and the State imposes restrictions on gatherings, we must cancel our chess tournament. All refunds have been processed and completed as of 3/14/2020.

Overall Standings - We will begin posting after the second tournament in the 20-21 series year.

Divisions:

Non USCF Divisions: Kindergarten-1st Grade, 2nd and 3rd Grade, 4th Grade to 7th Grade, 8th Grade to 12th Grade

USCF Divisions: U600, U900, U1100, U1400, Open

Pre-registered Players Pages

NOTE: There will be no Saturday morning registrations. All players must pre-register for each tournament by 7 p.m. the Friday evening prior to each tournament. (See registration guidelines above.)

We will post updates for tournament registrations starting two weeks before the tournament. The last update will be on the Friday prior to the tournament date.

Be sure to check to see if you are registered and if you need to do anything before you arrive on the day of the tournament. (i.e. renew your USCF membership).

PLEASE NOTE: USCF MEMBERS WHOSE MEMBERSHIPS HAVE LAPSED WILL RECEIVE A FIRST ROUND 0 (ZERO) POINT BYE AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO RENEW THEIR MEMBERSHIP DURING THE FIRST ROUND. FAILURE TO RENEW THE MEMBERSHIP WILL RESULT IN A SECOND ROUND 0 (ZERO) POINT BYE AND SO FORTH UNTIL MEMBERSHIP IS RENEWED. YOU CAN RENEW YOUR USCF MEMBERSHIPS HERE.

Child Care During Tournaments

At all Thinkers Challenge tournaments it is required that the parent or legal guardian of a player or an assigned (assigned by the parent or legal guardian) adult/coach be responsible and liable for all children in their care who are attending the tournament as a player or spectator.
